Super Eagles Coach Rohr to Miss World Cup Draws in Egypt
The bellyful animosity between the Super Eagles Technical adviser Gernot Rohr and his employer, the Nigeria Football Federation has denied the Franco-German from participating in Tuesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup draws in Egypt as the NFF, General Secretary Muhammad Sanusi will represent the gaffer.
No reason was given for his absence even as 40 African teams who are drawn in four groups will know their group opponents with the national teams coaches in attendance.
The event which kicks off 19.00 (local time) will be held at the Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo, Egypt.
The road to the Qatar 2022 World Cup is scheduled, such that the Second round group phase starts in March 2020 and comes to an end in October 2021.
While the Third round which will have the ten group winners drawn into five will play a two-legged knockout ties to be played in November 2021
