President Bola Tinubu has described the passing of ace Kannywood actress, Saratu Gidado, as saddening, not only to those mourning but also to the nation, which she honoured through her talent as a thespian.
The 56-year-old movie star died on Tuesday morning in Kano.
In a statement issued bhy the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, President condoled with the family, colleagues, and fans of the ace Kannywood actress, Saratu Gidado.
According to Ngelale, the President said that “beyond the vacuum her demise has created in the flourishing entertainment industry, Ms. Gidado’s humanitarian pursuits will also be sorely missed.”
The President also commiserated with the Kano State Government as well as all those impacted by Ms. Saratu Gidado’s passing while praying for Allah’s mercy on her soul.
