603 Fresh COVID-19 Cases As Nigeria’s Total Cases Pass 28,000
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Saturday, announced that Nigeria has recorded 603 fresh cases of Coronavirus in the country.
This was revealed in a tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Centre.
The report said a total number of 11,462 people were discharged after they had tested negative twice to the virus, while the number of deaths increased to 634.
Lagos remained the epicentre of the virus in the country, recording another 100+ cases in 24 hours.
The tweet reads: “603 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-135 Edo-87 FCT-73 Rivers-67 Delta-62 Ogun-47 Kaduna-20 Plateau-19 Osun-17 Ondo-16 Enugu-15 Oyo-15 Borno-13 Niger-6 Nasarawa-4 Kebbi-3 Kano-2 Sokoto-1 Abia-1 28,167 confirmed 11,462 discharged 634 deaths.”
