In Yobe, Police Nab Teacher for Defiling 10-year-old Girl
An unrepentant assistant head teacher with Jajere Central Primary School in Yobe State, Abubakar Musa is telling the police why he would not go to jail for raping one of his pupils, a 10 year old girl.
The Yobe State Police Public Relation Officer, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim who briefed the press after parading the suspected said Musa has been a serious problem to the community by defiling little children.
ASP Abdulkarim also informed that the victim of the crime is a primary five year old girl whom, Mallam Musa had raped twice between July 15 and 17, 2020.
“From our investigation, we found out that Musa met her in the market where she sells sachet water. He then picked two sachets of water and left after telling her to meet him in an uncompleted building for her money.
“As soon as she arrived, he took advantage of the situation and had sexual intercourse with her.
“We also gathered that Musa lured the victim to a-yet-to-be identified place and had canal knowledge of her for the second time. We are now working with the victim to identify the second crime scene,” ASP Abdulkarim informed.
He added that the Musa lured the girl with money in an uncompleted building for the first time and defiled her, while the venue for the second time of the activity is still being investigated.
The Yobe State Police spokesman said the case will be handed over to the court for prosecution as soon as the police conclude their investigation.
On his side, the suspected rapist, Musa admitted to have twice had sex with the little girl but blamed his action on the work of the devil.
He also disclosed that the little girl had consented to the act twice, adding that he regretted his actions.
