The Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde has been appointed to lead the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, campaign for the October 10, gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
The National Working Committee of the party on Wednesday named Makinde, as Chairman of its 145 member campaign council. The council has all the state governors elected under the platform of the party.
This was contained in a notice released by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja.
Zamfara State Governor Bello Mattawale was named the deputy chairman of the campaign council.
National Financial Secretary of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Maibashira, was appointed Assistant Secretary of the council.
