Nigeria, on Thursday, announced that it has recorded 296 fresh cases of Coronavirus in the country.
This was revealed in a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its official Twitter handle.
The report stated 40,726 have been discharged from various isolation centres across the country, having tested negative to the novel virus twice.
The number of fatalities also increased as Nigeria now has a total of 1011 deaths.
