Help me win Miss. World; vote for me!–Anita Ukah, MBGN, begs Nigerians

Reigning Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, Anita Ukah, has sent a strong plea to Nigerians at home and abroad to help her actualise her dream of becoming the second Nigerian beauty to win the Miss. World crown.

Anita, 23, wants her compatriots, both at home and in the diaspora, to vote and, indeed, encourage their friends to vote for her in the ongoing global pageant in Sanya, China.

Agbani Asenite Darego made history on November 16, 2001, when she became the first native African to win the Miss World crown. Agbani stunned the world at the 51st edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Super Bowl of Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, South Africa, when she defeated 92 other contestants to clinch the title.

Born December 22, 1982, Agbani was honoured with the National Honour of Member of the Federal Republic by then President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Anita Ukah, the reigning Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, hopes to follow in the steps of Agbani Darego by winning the crown in the ongoing competition in China but she says she would need loads of votes from fellow Nigerians and fans across the world.

Anita got to this stage by succeeding Miss Ugochi Ihezue, MBGN 2017 winner. Prior to that, she had, in 2014, won the Miss Igbinedion University Beauty Pageant in Okada, Edo State.

In an interview with Chukwudi Sopuruchi of Showbiz Today,  Anita speaks on her mission in China, her pet project and her plans for the less privileged in the country. She also solicits support from her fans within and outside Nigeria to enable her clinch the Miss World crown.

How does winning the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) crown make you feel?

 Winning the crown, truly, is a dream come true for me. As a model, it means I am given a bigger floor to explore my passion.

You are currently in China; what is your mission?

My mission in China is simple: to represent Nigeria and bring home the Miss World crown. But I can’t do it without you guys! Let’s make history again.

What do you need now from your supporters across the world?

I need their votes to be able to win this crown for Nigeria

To vote for me, I urge my supporters to take the following steps:
