As the battle for who the next president of America would be, Kayleigh McEnany, President Donald Trump’s press secretary, has gone spiritual to secure victory for the Republican at the ongoing US election.
McEnany took to her Twitter page on Tuesday to recite lyrics of ‘Way Maker’, a song by Osinachi Joseph, a Nigerian gospel singer popularly known as Sinach.
“You are way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness! My God, that is who You are!,” she wrote.
The tweet has racked up 66k likes, 10k retweets as at the time of this report.
Trump, incumbent US president, is seeking re-election in office against Joe Biden, Democratic presidential candidate.
The development comes a few days after ‘Way Maker’ was named the ‘Song of the Year’ at the 2020 Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards.
Earlier in May, Sinach became the first African to top the Billboard USA Christian songwriters chart — after the lovely song was top of the log for seven weeks.
