Yetunde Oladehinde, The Nation’s Assistant Editor, Loses Mum
The Assistant Editor of The Nation newspaper, Mrs. Yetunde Oladehinde, has lost her mother, Madam Esther Folashade Francis.
The late Mrs. Francis died last month, December 6, 2020, at the age of 80.
She worked with the UTC Departmental Stores, Lagos, where she participated in a beauty pageant organized by the company. She won the contest and emerged Miss. UTC.
Madam Francis got married to Mr. Cyprian Akinnola Francis, a staff of Elder Dempsters, a Lagos-based shipping company, and the union was blessed with five children-three girls and two boys.
The final rites of passage for Mrs. Francis, as released by the family, begin with a service of songs at the Land of Praise Event Centre on Thursday, January 21, 2021, while lying-in-state and interment hold the following day at Ayobo Cemetery, Ayobo, Lagos.
Guest, concludes the programme, would be entertained at the Land of Praise Events Centre. All programmes, the family stressed, would follow strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
