Delta Attack; Defence HQ Releases Names, Photos of Military Personnel Killed

Days after they were gruesomely murdered in an ambush at Okuama, Delta State, the Defence Headquarters, on Monday, released the names and identities of the five officers and 12 soldiers killed in the attack.
The 17 military personnel were killed last week in Okuama, a community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, while on a peace mission to some feuding communities.
The 17 personnel, according to the release by the Defence Headquarters, include a Colonel and the Commanding Officer of 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 12 personnel of the battalion were among those killed.
Paying tribute to the gallant heroes, the Nigerian Army displayed a photo collage of the personnel on its X handle, and wrote: “May The Souls of the Departed Rest In Peace.”
The Defence Headquarters gave the names of the fallen heroes as:
