For the fifth time in 2024, the national electricity grid collapsed again on Monday.
The current glitch was said to have occurred in the afternoon and it affected some parts of the country.
The Punch newspaper quoted an official of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, who described the glitch as a “partial collapse”.
According to the paper, the official, however, assured that power was being restored gradually.
