Nigeria’s U-20 female football team, the Falconets, have crashed out of the ongoing U-20 Womens World Cup in Costa Rica.
Netherlands showed Nigeria aside with an emphatic 2-0 in the early hours of Monday to advance to the semi final.
The Falconets played the game of their life but the hard-tackling Europeans, who bagged three yellow cards for rough play, were too hard for the Nigerian ladies to crack/
The match, part of the knock-out stage of the competition, was played at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto stadium, Alajuela city, Costa Rica.
