Buhari Re-appoints Runsewe, Others
The Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Segun Runsewe, has earned another four years to continue the good work he is doing promoting Nigeria across the world.
His first term lapsed in February.
President Muhammadu Buhari approved the reappointment of Runsewe and the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for two other commissions for another term of four years.
A statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, named the returning CEOs as: Otunba Segun Runsewe, Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Mr Folorunso Coker, Director-General, Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) and Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director, National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
The President also approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed as the Chief Executive Officer /Artistic Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria.
Alhaji Ahmed was until his appointment, Director of Culture in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bauchi State.
