AWAWA Radio: Olatunji Congratulates Gen Bajowa, Says Station’ll Sell Ikales’ Culture, People to the World
Chairman of the Ikale Heritage Development Association , Otunba Sola Olatunji has commended General Olu Bajowa, retd, over setting up of AWAWA FM Radio describing it as a veritable window for the world to see and appreciate the culture and people of Ikaleland.
“Congratulations to you and your amiable wife, Princess Oluyemi Bajowa, the Regent of Ayeka Kingdom for deeming it fit to set up a state-of-the-art AWAWA Radio Station at Okitipupa, Otunba Olatunji said.
“Your decision to set this gigantic Radio Station couldn’t have come at a better time than this. We all know you did not set it up primarily for monetary gain but to project the culture and our people to the rest of tbe world. The benefit of this on the economy, culture and social lives of our people can’t be quantified.
Sir, Ikale nation will continue to adore you for this laudable initiative and many more.”.
The Chairman of the socio-cultural group was a guest at the station recently where he was interviewed for one hour on issues concerning the Ikale people. He thanked the Management of the station for their professionalism during thecourtesy visit to AWAWA Radio Station on Thursday, 29th April 2021’.
In his reactipn, General Bajowa, paid glowing tribute to the Ikale Heritage Development Association and the chairman for the compliments and recognition of his modest contributions, in the establishment of the Station in Ikaleland, to project the culture of Ikale, Ilaje and Apoi people
“HRH Princess Barr Oluyemi Bajowa, The Regent of Ayeka Kingdom and my humble self, the son of the soil, will continue, as God wishes, to identify ourselves to the progress and development of Ondo South Senatorial District and indeed, Ondo State,” the Jagunmole of Ikaleland said.
