The wave of wanton killings continues in Enugu on Tuesday morning as unknown gunmen attacked the Iwollo Oghe, Ezeagu Police Division in Enugu State, killing at least four officers.
It was learnt that the building and vehicles parked in the station were razed while the gunmen carted away their ammunition.
All the suspects under detention in the station were also said to have been freed by the hoodlums.
“Unknown Gunmen attacked a police station in my local government area (Ezeagu, Enugu State) and killed four policemen. One of them happened to be my kinsman. It has been mourning in my council and community,” a source said.
