Security harassed me, says Obi; ‘There’s trouble for Nigeria’

After casting his vote, Saturday morning, the vice presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr.  Peter Obi, said security agents harassed him and some PDP chieftains, Friday, few hours to the commencement of the elections.

“Capital Yes,” was how Obi responded when journalists asked him to confirm if it was true that they were visited by security agents

When the former Anambra State Governor was also asked Asked what the development portended for the  party, Obi said pointedly, “It spells trouble for the country.”

Obi,  who was accompanied by his  wife to the polling booth, cast his vote at around 9 a.m.

However, when aAsked about his assessment of the process, Obi “it is still a bit clumsy, considering the time it took us to go through the  whole process. I have faith in the  process. But  it is too early  to comment  on the credibility of the election.”
