The rampaging COVID-19 pandemic has claimed its biggest victim yet in the United States of America.
He is General Colin Powell who served as the 65th United States Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005, the first African-America to attain the powerful height in the history of America’s executive arm of government.
Powell succumbed to COVID-19 Monday at the age of 84.
He was infected by the deadly virus despite having been fully vaccinated.
