IHDA Mobilizes Ikales for BAT 2023 Presidency
A socio-cultural group under the umbrella of the Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA, has lined up a one-day mobilization crusade in Ikaleland to sensitize the people on why the 2023 political aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be seen as the collective dream of the entire South-west.
Speaking to journalists in Okitipupa, Ondo State on Friday, leader of the group, Otunba Sola Olatunji said his association is set to embark on what he termed political movement yet to be witnessed in the entire Ikaleland.
“The Ikale Heritage Development Association like several other groups has thrown its weight behind BAT 2023 presidency,” Olatunji said..
“In this yuletide, top members of the Association will tour all the communities, towns and villages in Ikaleland to sensitize their people about BAT 2023 presidency and the need to get prepared for the election by ensuring that everyone above 18 years old gets his or her voters card.
“Those ones that have lost their voters card, misplaced or damaged have opportunity to get new ones. We shall persuade those ones with card but always not ready to vote to perform their civic obligations this time around.”
According to Olatunji, the sensitization will take us to areas where our people are domiciled in Nigeria ahead of the general elections in 2023. “We shall visit places
like Ibadan, Akure. Abuja, Ijebu Ode , Ado Ekiti , Ore. Shagamu and Lagos where we have large presence of the Ikale people.”
He enjoined the people to begin work and ensure continuity for APC government in Nigeria revealing that the mobilization will take his team to all the prominent Royal fathers, political bigwigs and shakers and movers of the land.
