Olubadan of Ibadan Dies at 93, Buried
Less than one month after the death of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, the Oyo State Council of Obas has has lost another paramount ruler.
Oba Saliu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan, joined his ancestors, early Sunday morning, aged 93.
His mortal remains have since been buried.
Oyo State Governor, Mr. Seyi Makinde, who made announcement of the royal father’s demise, said Oba Adetunji died at the University College Hospital in Ibadan.
Oba Adetunji was crowned the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan following his coronation on March 4, 2016.
