Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Sunday has purchased the N50 million All Progressives Congress, APC Nomination forms in Abuja Monday.
He is seeking to succeed Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde in the 2023 gubernatorial polls.
The Ogbomosho-born minister was on Monday spotted at APC national secretariats in Abuja to pick his gubernatorial form.
Although the minister had kept his gubernatorial dreams close to his chest, he made a strong intent with his decision to pay a whopping N50m to obtain the form and officially declared his readiness to run in the guber next year.
It remains to be seen if he would emerge as APC gubernatorial candidate for the state, but there are strong indications that Dare is already enjoying the full backing of APC stalwarts.
