Sanwo-Olu, Bajowa Applaud IHDA’s Free Medical Outreach in Lagos
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has applauded the historic one-day free medical outreach for over one hundred Ikale people in the state coming up on Saturday, April 9, at the Women Development Centre, Agege.
The free medical outreach, put together by the Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA, has attracted rave reviews in the media in the last couples of weeks.
“His Excellency, Governor Sanwo-Olu is highly impressed with the initiative and has encouraged us to do more with his massive supports,” chairman of the socio-cultural group said.
A prominent Ikale son, The Jagunmole of Ikaleland, Gen Olu Bajowa, retd, has also showered praises on the IHDA as he agreed to deliver the keynote address at the event describing it as one of its kind. He commended the leadership of the Ikale Heritage Development Association, urging them not to rest on their oars after the historic feat.
According to the chairman, Olatunji, over one hundred people will undergo free medical check-up and some will receive drugs from the medical team while urging all Ikale sons and daughters in Lagos State to keep the date.
Olatunji also commended FIDSON Healthcare PLC for donating drugs worth thousands of naira for the event. “FIDSON is a wonderful sponsor,” he said.
