Finally, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has declared his intention to run for the post of the president of Nigeria in 2023.
Osinbajo made the declaration on Monday on his Twitter handle, @ProfOsinbajo.
His words: “I am today, with utmost humility formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of APC.”
Osinbajo had on Sunday met with 12 All Progressives Congress, APC, governors to inform them about his ambition.
He promised, in the short video, to give Nigerians a country of their dream if given the opportunity to serve them once again as president.
