Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has thrown yet another deadly jab at President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, saying the president’s integrity and morality are fake.
Obasanjo spoke at the Island Club 2019 Quarterly Business Lecture held in Lagos stressing that the Buhari’s actions and inactions have exposed his (Obasanjo’s) claims. He added that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, would win the February 16, 2019, presidential election because he (Atiku) is the right man to take Nigeria out of its current state.
Obasanjo also used the occasion to reiterate his forgiveness to Atiku, his one-time deputy, who he had, on many occasions in the past, disparaged and demonised.
The former president however, said he has forgiven his deputy, Atiku and will do everything to support him in the coming election.
According to him, he is sure that the PDP presidential candidate and his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar, will be elected as president in the coming elections.
Obasanjo recently took a swipe at the administration of Muhammadu Buhari, in a 16-page letter, describing the president’s integrity and morality as fake and unbankable.
He also said he has forgiven Atiku and he won’t be retracting his recent remarks on President Buhari and his government.
