Nigerian music icon, Davido, has reacted to a viral video where his uncle and People’s Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate in the July election, Ademola Adeleke bragged about being loaded with enough money.
Reacting, Davido posted the video on his Instastory with the vague caption, “Fire for fire, Kpa for Kpa”.
Adeleke had boasted of having enough money both in naira, dollars, Euros and pound sterling to swing the election in Osun State.
He spoke in a short clip while addressing some members of the PDP in Osogbo during the weekend.
The PDP candidate boasted that he was more prepared for the 2022 race than in 2018 when Adegboyega Oyetola defeated him.
“Osun people, you are the ones to decide. If it is about money, I have enough. I came with plenty of money. And it is not only naira; I came with dollars, pounds, and euros. This time in Osun, it is fire for fire,” Adeleke boasted while speaking in Yoruba.
