Former Governors of Plateau and Taraba states, Senator Joshua Dariye, and Rev. Jolly Nyame, who had been serving jail terms for fraud and criminal breach of trust in the Kuje Correctional Centre, near Abuja, stepped into freedom  at about 2.15p.m. on Monday.

Their release from the facility came almost four months after the Council of State, headed by President Muhammadu Buhari, granted them pardon on April 14, 2022.

The two men, as can be seen in these pictures, looked health and exuberant as they stepped out of prison and breathed the fresh air of freedom.
