IHDA Commiserates with Gov Akeredolu over Mother’s Death
A socio-cultural group under the aegis of Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA, has sent a condolence message to the governor of Ondo State, Arakunri Rotimi Akeredolu whose mother died at the wee hours of Thursday.
In a condolence letter signed by the chairman of the IHDA, Otunba Sola Olatunji, the association expresses deep shock on the demise of the great nonagenarian who had been a rare gem to people around her and humanity.
“Your dear mother was so loved and was so good to everyone who knew her,” Olatunji wrote in the message. “Your mother touched so many lives. She was one of the nicest person ever.
“She was truly a wonderful woman. We will always remember how amazing she was. Our deepest sympathies on her death. Stay strong while mourning for your beloved mother as we pray to Lord to give you strength in this hard time of yours. No one can replace her place but the Almighty can comfort your heart! May God let your mother rest among the angels.”
Meanwhile Governor Akeredolu has said that his late mother, Grace, would be guided by strong angels as she transits to eternity.
Akeredolu, in a statement via his Facebook, said the burial arrangements would be announced by the family
