A fire outbreak in a filling station in Latina, Nasarawa State may have killed ten persons, including an infant. The fire which started early Monday while the station was refilling gas into its reservoir spread to houses in the neighbouhood and affected vehicles and passes-by. But for some he quick intervention of men of the Fire Service the explosion would have gone further.
Though men of the state fire service responded promptly the rate of the rage made the damage unstoppable. The officials took victims to treatment and were even assisted by other vehicle owners and motor cycle riders who helped those with minor injuries to the hospital.
