An Islamic cleric and Professor at the Usman Danfodiyo University, Dr Mansur Sokoto, who had incited the outrage of Nigerians on social media platforms after he shared a story of how a five-year-old girl raped an adult male, has now deleted the post.
Sokoto faced a backlash after Nigerians challenged him for trying to blame women and girls for rape, in an attempt to spin the narrative on its head.
Some Nigerians fuming from the story, urged the Nigerian Police to commence an investigation on the narrator.
