The President, Muhammadu Buhari, commiserated with the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi’s older brother, Dede, death.
This was contained in a statement signed by the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, “In this moment of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with the Amaechi family and people of Rivers State,” Shehu quoted the President as saying.
The President encouraged Amaechi to find strength in legacies of his late brother.
In the statement, Buhari enjoined Muslims to mourn the death of a renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Kamaldeen, who passed on in Ilorin, capital of Kwara State, on Friday.
