Sowore Attacks Tinubu Over Donald Duke’s Image Used in Documentary
The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has tackled the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential standard bearer, Bola Tinubu, for using former governor, Donald Duke’s images to depict his (Tinubu’s) childhood in a TV documentary.
The documentaries that were aired on Television Continental (TVC) a few months ago, as well as those that were uploaded on different YouTube channels, used tonnes of images and videos to describe people’s lives and political ascents.
And in the video, a particular monochrome photograph of a young boy in dark sunglasses, seated and with his fingers joined together, was cited as Bola Tinubu during his years as a young boy.
However, Duke alleged during a roundtable that was organised by the Front Fort Media Initiative and the MacArthur Foundation and held recently in Lagos that the picture Tinubu claimed was his (Duke) own.
Commenting on this situation, Sowore, in a tweet released, described what Timubu did as deceptive.
He said,:”This fraudulent @officialABAT, everything about this man is a fraud, to the point that even his TV station @tvcnewsng can’t help but steal @Donald_Duke’s images.”
