British PM, Rishi Sunak, Congratulates Tinubu

British Prime minister, Mr. Rishi Sunak, has congratulated the President-Elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his victory in last Saturday’s Presidential poll.

In a message he sent to Tinubu from his official Twitter handle, @rishisunak, the British Prime Minister said he looked forward to working with the President-Elect to increase opportunities for business and prosperity for the peoples of both countries.

“Congratulations to @officialBAT on his victory in Nigeria,” Sunak tweeted. “The UK-Nigeria relationship remains strong. I look forward to working together to grow our security and trade ties, opening up opportunities for businesses and creating prosperity in both our countries.”
