President Bola Tinubu will today (Monday) at 7pm, address Nigerians, his spokesman, Dele Alake, has said.
Alake said: “Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”
The nationwide broadcast will primarily be on the economic pain experienced by Nigerians amid the removal of fuel subsidy
There seemed to be no respite for Nigerians after Tinubu, announced the removal of petrol subsidy.
With the announcement, the pump price of a litre of petrol rose from N184 to N500. About two months later, the price jumped from N500 to over N617.
