The Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, currently embroiled in a battle of legitimacy over her appointment as Minister on account of being a serving corps member, has denying issuing a rebuttal on the controversy.
There have been viral reports of a statement allegedly issued by her justifying the legality of her appointment as Minister.
But a statement issued by the Deputy Director of Press in the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Mr. Suleiman Haruna, said the embattled Minister has denied ever issuing any statement on the NYSC saga, describing the report as having been “inaccurately associated” to her.
While appreciating Nigerians for their understanding at this time, the embattled Minister was quoted as saying: “For clarity, I wish to state that I have not issued any statement on the current issue.”
