President Muhammadu Buhari is not marrying a second wife today or in the near future, The Crest can confirm.

The rumour in the mill has been described as lie from the pit of hell.

Multiple sources have confirmed to The Crest that there is no wedding taking place in Aso Villa or neither is there anything like that in Daura, President Buhari’s place.

“This is a lie from the pit of hell,” one of our sources said. “As I am talking to you, there is no wedding going on in Aso Villa. It is nothing but the figment of the imagination of the peddlers. It is also not true that the presidency spoke with any media organisation on this issue.”

 The claim stated that the president is to marry the new minister for the newly created Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq.

The claim which has gone viral on social media stated that the wedding would take place today, Friday, October 11, after the Jumat (Friday prayer) services.
