Buhari, Sanwo-Olu, Others Hail Tinubu at 72
Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, leads the 72 birthday tribute for President Bola Tinubu describing him as an audacious and fearless leader just as Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Siminalayi Fubara and other dignitaries have hailed the President..
Buhari, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, commended the sustained efforts by Tinubu’s administration to overcome the many challenges of Nigeria.
“My family and I pray to God that you remain healthy and happy and continue to work for the betterment of the country. Happy birthday to you!” Buhari said.
On his part, Sanwo-Olu, in a statement by his media aide Gboyega Akosile, described Tinubu as “a courageous, audacious, and passionate leader committed to the progress, growth, and development of Nigeria.”
He added: “President Tinubu’s financial wizardry and economic intellect, which he put to good use as the Governor of Lagos State, have taken our dear state to a greater height. Today, Lagos is the pride of Nigeria, occupying an enviable position as the fifth largest economy in Africa.”
Similarly, Fubara described President Tinubu as a selfless leader, an advocate of peace and unity, and a bridge builder who has engendered the country’s growth of democracy.
Fubara disclosed this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, on Thursday.
Also, the House of Representatives Speaker, Abbas Tajudeen, felicitated Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message by his media aide, Musa Krishi, Abbas described Tinubu as “a grandmaster of progressive politics.”
Likewise, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, congratulated Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader.
