Though many parts of the country still suffer blackout due to the collapse of the national power grid at about 4.28p.m. on Thursday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has announced that it has successfully restored the grid.
In a statement issued on Friday, TCN, in a statement on Friday, claimed that the grid gained full recovery at about 10p.m. Thursday.
But the Eko Electricity Distribution Company, EKDC, disclosed, also on Friday, that only got minimal power supply from the national grid to which it injected into the Agbara, Ojo, Akangba, Ajah, Lekki and Alagbon Transmission Stations.
Ndidi Mbah, TCN spokesperson, declared, in the statement, that: “We remain optimistic that power supply will be restored to optimal normalcy soon, as the grid restoration continues. We will keep you updated.”
