The Ondo State Working Committee of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of principal officers for the Agboola Ajayi State Campaign Council for the November 16, 2024 Gubernatorial election.
The party says it has overcome the initial controversy and decides to appoint former PDP National Deputy Chairman, South-West Dr Eddy Olafeso as chairman of the campaign council.and Mr Clement Faboyede as Director General while John Ola Mafo is DG Special Duties.
Others are Hon Ifedayo Akinsoyinu-Deputy DG,. Hon Rasheed Elegbeleye Deputy DG, Bala Akinwunmi Esq Deputy DG and Dr Deji Aseniserare – Secretary Campaign Council
Speaking with our correspondent from Akure, Olorogun Olafeso said the task is arduous but he is confident that the campaign council will be methodical in approach and ensure a smooth victory for “our candidate, Agboola Ajayi at the November 16 poll.”
“We have a formidable team that can deliver Ondo State for PDP once again, Olafeso said. “It is a herculean task but together we shall win.”

According to a release signed the State Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Ikanlu Perefei, the full list of the Campaign Council and date of inauguration will be made public in due course.
