Keyamo Stops NAMA’s Proposed Increase in Navigational Charges

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, has shelved its plan to increase navigational charges earlier scheduled to take effect from September 1, 2024.
The agency disclosed this through a post on its official X handle, @nigeriaairspace, saying the decision was at the intervention of the Minister Aviation Minister, Mr. Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.
The agency wrote:
“NAMA has suspended the planned increase in navigational charges, which was set to take effect on September 1st due to the current economic situation. Further consultations will be conducted to address all concerns.” #NAMA
