Big Brother Naija Season 9, No Loose Guard Edition, came to an exciting close, Sunday night, with Housemate, Kingsley Oritsetimeyin a.k.a Kellyrae, emerging as winner.
Kellyrae beat seven other finalists to clinch the N60 million cash prize and a brand new SUV worth N40 million, among other mouth-watering rewards.
The eight housemates that made the grand finale are: Kellyrae, Wanni, Victoria, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita.
Housemate Sooj was the first to be evicted in a night spiced with scintillating performances by music stars.
Show host, Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu would, moments later, announce the eviction of Anita, then, Ozee.
They were followed by Nelly and Victoria, thus narrowing the competition to three Housemates-Kellyrae, Wanni, and Onyeka.respectively.
Excitement heightened following Onyeka’s eviction, leaving Kellyrae and Wanni on the stage.
At exactly 8.53p.m., Nigerian time, Kellyrae was proclaimed winner of Big Brother Naija, Season 9, “Loose Guard Edition”.
The grand finale featured popular artistes like Joseph Akinfewa-Donus, aka Joeboy, and Chimamanda Chukwuma, popularly known as Qing Madi who treated the excited audience to superlative performances.
Host Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu intermittently offered viewers playback of the memorable moments by outgoing housemates during their stay in the House, as they were evicted one after another.
The “No Loose Guard” season premiered on July 24, 2024, with fierce competition among 14 pairs of dynamic housemates vying for the ultimate prize.
