Rivers LG Election: Action Alliance wins Etche Vote

The Rivers State Independent National Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has declared the candidate of the Action Alliance, AA,  Uzodinma Nwafor, as winner of the chairmanship vote in Etche Local Government Area of the state.

Making the declaration in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Sunday, RSIEC chairman, Justice Adolphus Enebeli (retd.),also said that the AA swept all the 19 councilor positions in the local government.

Baring any last minute alteration, Governor Siminalayi Fubara will swear-in all the newly elected chairmen of the 23 LGAs in about 10 minutes time at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
