Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, got a big boost, Monday, for his re-election bid as former President Olusegun Obasanjo paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Akure, the State capital, to encourage him.
The governorship election holds across all 18 local government areas of the state this Saturday, November 16, 2024.
In a way that suggests “if you’ve got it, you flaunt it”, Aiyedatiwa’s All Progressives Congress, APC, made a show of the former President’s visit on its official X handle on Monday, enthusing that Obasanjo came to wish the governor success.in the vote on Saturday.
Aiyedatiwa, who is favoured to win Saturday’s poll, became Governor following the death of his predecessor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, in 2023, after a prolonged illness.
