Nigerian gospel minister, Nathaniel Bassey, will perform at the United States Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast on 20 January, 2025.
The event will precede the inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States.
Nathaniel Bassey, the only Nigerian and African artiste to be invited, confirmed his participation on his Instagram Page on Sunday.
The event, a non-political and faith-based affair, will hold at the Waldorf Astoria Presidential Ballroom, Washington DC, in honour of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance before their swearing-in ceremony.Trump.
Reverend Merrie Turner will be the host of prayer breakfast.
Others slated to perform at the breakfast event include: Pastor Mario Bramnick, Revivalist Rebecca Macchi and Dr. Dominiquae Bierman.
