It’s a sad day for all Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and Personal Assistants serving under the administration of Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule as they were all booted out of office in one fell swoop on Friday
Governor Sule cited the ex-officials’ inability to effectively implement government policies and programmes as the reason for kicking them out with immediate effect.
Governor Sule made the shock announcement on Friday during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji.
Also at the event held at the Government House in Lafia, Commodore Yahaya Owuna (rtd.) was sworn in as the sole administrator of Udege Administrative Area.
The chairman and board members of the College of Education, Akwanga, were also sworn in at the event.
Governor Sule explained that the new appointments were made as part of his administration’s efforts to enhance governance, and improve service delivery to the people of Nasarawa State.
While acknowledging the contributions of the dismissed officials, Sule expressed gratitude for their service and urged them to continue supporting the state’s development.
