After conflicting stories in the social media about his status, Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai revealed, on Wednesday, that was yet to recover from the coronavirus disease, for which he tested positive on March 28.
El-Rufai revealed this on Wednesday, on his official Twitter handle, after chairing the Kaduna State Executive Council meeting.
In his tweet, the governor warned sternly against giving in to false representation of his coronavirus status.
He pledged to make his status public whenever he recovers from the virus. He also promised to reveal when he recovers from the disease.
He said, “Earlier Wednesday 10am-2pm, I took a few hours during isolation to chair a virtual meeting of the State Executive Council.
“I haven’t been cleared of COVID-19 yet and (I) will personally announce when confirmed negative. Ignore all fake news even if you like it.”
