[BREAKING] Osun Guber Poll: Collation Ends; PDP’s Adeleke Wins 17 LGAs; Oyetola-13

Collation of results in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Osun State formally ended at 5.35 a.m. local time on Sunday.

By the tally, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke, won in 17 local government areas while incumbent Governor Adegboyega Adeleke, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, got 13.

The Independent Electoral Commission is computing and registering the tally manually preparatory to the official declaration of a winner.

Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, is in charge.
