Dele Momodu, the publisher of ovation magazine-turned politician recently caught my attention with his unwarranted publicity about why he will not support the political project of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a post on social media, Momodu, a former presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, said Tinubu’s wife, raised the issue of her husband’s presidential bid and wanted to know if he would or would not support him.
“I love Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We’ve truly come way back. I love Professor Yemi Osinbajo. I love Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi… And all my APC friends… But APC has done too much damage to Nigeria.
“I choose to place Nigeria above friendship… I will try my best to support and encourage our PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to do the right things in our party and to rescue our dear beloved country from the vestiges of oppression, religious intolerance, poverty, terrorism, infrastructure decay, economic woes, unemployment,” Momodu had written in the social media
In the first place ,we all know Dele Momodu and his political antics as an unstable politician who had jumped from Labour Party to PDP and I won’t be surprised to see him in APC after his party might have been thrashed at 2023 general elections. Who needs the support of a political failure in the first instance?
Can you see the person who is talking about supporting a political colossus of our time with his dismal outing at the last primary election of PDP in Abuja? His previous contest under the platform of Labour Party was a total disaster too. And I honestly believe that Tinubu does not need Momodu’s support to become President in 2023.
But, it seems that Bob Dee cannot differentiate between politics and journalism.
It is curious to know why Dele Momodu would go to the press over a private encounter with Senator Remi Tinubu in the first instance.
Momodu has nothing to offer APC as it’s evident that he possesses no political relevance both in Ife and Edo States which he claims as home.
Why does Momodu think that a man without political base or grassroots relevance is being sought after by a political colossus and EMILOKAN of Nigeria? Bob Dee, the publications of your private encounter with Senator Remi Tinubu at a funeral function of Kemi Nelson was unwarranted and amounted to cheap publicity.
We all know the political party you belong to, so stay on your lane and deploy all your support to your party that is presently on life support so that you guys can compete effectively well in 2023 ,otherwise you will be promoting ‘Emilokan’ of Nigeria continuously and your party will charge you for anti-party .
I even thought that you would have joined the third force of Peter Obi, your traditional political party. Bob Dee, park well and stay on your lane. Stop using Tinubu’s name to draw undeserved popularity for yourself.
It is sad that you called yourself a patriot and yet supporting It is an irony that a patriot, that you claim, is supporting a political undertaker in the name of PDP that crushed and buried over 130 companies and corporations belonging to this country under privatization scheme. It is also shameful that an acclaimed patriot can’t see anything wrong supporting a political party (PDP) that did not build any infrastructure for 16 years despite oil windfall. Bob Dee, remain on your lane and stop using Tinubu’s name to gain political relevance.
We are even happy that you are fraternizing with those who converted our industrial parks to mega churches. Let me also remind you that PDP turned the future of our children to nightmares after Obasanjo and Atiku-led privatization scheme, which should naturally expanded the economy by creating limitless opportunities for the benefit of job seeking youths, became a curse on the country.
Bob Dee, if your desire is to foist the era of locust administration back on Nigerians in order to drain their remaining blood, your wish will not be granted by our merciful father.
If truly you know Tinubu as a goal getter and a great builder of men and women, a democrat, a hero of progressive Nigeria and a lover of prosperous society, no doubt these attributes can be linked to visionary people around the world. So if we have Tinubu who can turn around the carcass of Nigeria to a country with limitless prosperity, do you think your love for this country as claimed in your publication is justified? Are you not amongst the people feeding fat from confusions created by your likes in this country?
Bob Dee, park well, be on your lane and let’s see the remaining oxygen in your party with your almighty support in 2023 general elections.
