BREAKING: Ministerial Nominee Slumps During Senate Screening
The ministerial nominee from Kaduna State, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, reportedly slumped while being screened by the Senate on Wednesday, as worried senators labored several minutes to revive him.
Balarabe who was nominated after former governor, El Rufai was rejected by the Senate caused frantic scenes in the Chamber .
Balarabe is one of the three nominees President Bola Tinubu sent their names as additional ministerial nominees to the Senate, on Tuesday, for approval. The nominees are Dr Jamila Bio, from Kwara, Balarabe Abbas, Kaduna , and Ayodele Olawale Olawande, Ondo.
Balarabe spoke for several minutes during his screening before falling to the floor with several lawmakers rushing to his aid.
