Charity, as the wise saying goes, begins at home. But not for Nigerian prominent politicians like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Atiku Abubakar. He lost his Ajiya polling unit in Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State to Buhari. The president scored 186 votes against Abubakar’s 167.
Also, APC made a huge show at the polling unit of former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
At Sokori Ward 22 Unit 11 where Obasanjo voted today, APC scored 81 votes while PDP got 18.
President Muhammadu Buhari has swept the polling unit of Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo in Gombe State. There, Buhari polled 453 to beat Atiku Abubakar, who polled 80 votes.
However, the governorship candidate of APC in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. In the Polling Unit result, PDP polled 52 votes to beat APC, which polled 48 votes.
Worse still, Senator Shehu Sani lost his Ungwar Sarki ward 020 polling unit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate, Malam Uba Sani.
