COVID-19: Ogun Records 42 Fresh Cases, Total Discharged Patients Now 641
No less than 42 persons have tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus in Ogun state on Monday.
The state government confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
This brings the total number of cases in the state to 1,047.
According to the government, four patients have made full recovery, which brings the total number of recoveries to 641.
It was reported that the state still has 385 active cases with 21 deaths recorded since the index case in February.
The tweet read: “Ogun State on 6th July, 2020 recorded 42 new cases of the Coronavirus, as part of the 1047 total confirmed cases.
“This is as 4 other cases were discharged, bringing to 641, the overall number of discharged cases.
“At the moment, the State is managing a total of 385 active cases, having recorded 21 related deaths since the index case was reported 6 months ago. Please, stay safe,” the state government said on its Twitter handle.
