Palace Announces Date for Elerinmo’s 10th Coronation Anniversary
The palace of the Elerinmo of Erimo-Ijesa, Osun State, Oba Dr. Michael Odunayo Ajayi, the Arowotawaya II, has announced the dates for the 10th Coronation Anniversary of the monarch’s ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
In a statement, the palace said the epochal event will hold between Thursday, August 1, 2024, and Saturday, the 10th, with the final day earmarked for a “Grand Royal Reception”.
In the statement, Oba Arowotawaya II was quoted as saying the event will be packed with activities showcasing the developmental strides of the Oba, a respected international businessman who, for several years, was the President of the Nigeria/Ghana Chamber of Commerce.
The statement urged all the sons and daughters of Erinmo, at home and in the diaspora, as well as friends of the agrarian town, to mark the dates in their diaries.
“We are using the anniversary to appreciate God’s goodness over our land in the past 10 years,’ the Elerinmo said in a brief chat with The Crest.
“With the solid backing and love of my people, God has helped us to make some giant strides that have defined Erinmo as bride of investors and a great tourism destination for people who love nature in all its allure and serenity.”
